GTO Special Commission piece from a woman named Shirley. When she and her husband were married, he sold his classic GTO. For years her has teased her about that. He has this image as his screensaver photo. She asked me to paint it for their 40th anniversary. I worked with ehr to ensure all details were correct and she liked the piece as it developed. I am so honoured to have been part of such a special story! Limited prints and note cards available.	Locked Down One of a two-series completed during the pandemic, Locked Down is a similar, 'little sister' version of my 'Organized Choas' canvas. Both were created using mixed media however in this version, the modeling paste is incorporated as a paint layer and not in the background texture as with the other. This work has been sold.	Child's Play It is difficult to capture the feeling of being a kid but this work makes me remember being pushed down the road by my sister while I steered with the handle. Anyone else have huge wipeouts when the wheels got caught and you turned too sharply? This work has been sold. Prints and note cards are available.
Homestead SOLD - PRINTS & NOTE CARDS AVAILABLE Old barn from my aunt & uncle's farm in Oak Lake, MB. It stood beside the Trans Canada highway and was a landmark to many who passed by. The old barn was destroyed in a wind storm in 2010. I painted this as a gift for my cousins.	OLD SCHOOL 'K' Mixed media, abstract work. Beacon One of my first mixed media works, I painted a lighthouse to go in my husband's family cottage on Lake Winnipeg. Acrylic, collage, ink and crackle medium on a 20x24" canvas.	Sisterhood The yellow rose is the symbol of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority of which my mom has been a part for over 50 years. I painted this for her and it hangs in her office.
